On August 18 it gives a second concert. This time all occurs to wonder. The orchestra interprets without problem the rondo. The press speaks in praise to him:
“a Master of first order”.
One underlines the delicacy of his touch, finished his nuances, “the virtuoso supported by nature”.
In Warsaw the local press is filled with enthusiasm little by these foreign successes.
“It is by thinking of it that I composed the Adagio of my concerto…”.
It is its first true love, but he does not dare to declare it.
The behaviors of Chopin are rather paradoxical. In public it has the trac, it timid, delicate, is reserved, but it cannot réfréné this impassioned dash that the love wakes up in him. Disproportion is so frank that one can wonder, if Constancy, so quickly forgotten thereafter, were not the pretext with the rise of this lyricism.
Of return to Warsaw, Frederic binds friendship with many Polish young people of his generation. They divide all the same feeling of rebellion towards Russian. Young people often find themselves in a coffee, and discuss policy.
From 1829-1830 they more and more often meet in company of young poets of which Stefan Witwicki and Bohdan Zaleski born both in 1802. At that time the artistic idea of progress could not be conceived without a political commitment.
The meetings often continue, in the residence of one of the participants and one reads poetry when Chopin does not play of the piano. In 1830 Witwicki a small collection of poems publishes “the songs bucolic”. Chopin is impressed so much by their esthetics, which it decided to compose his first melodies on the poems of Witwicki.
In perfect harmony with the text, it composed a simple music and without claim while being based on topics drawn from the Polish folklore. It made in the same way a few years after, on the poems of Zaleski and Mickiewicz.
During this time he thinks of making his re-entry in Warsaw, by giving two concerts. First place on March 17, 1830 with the National theatre has.
The effect on the public, is not with the height of the hopes of Chopin, but the press clarified the folk character of the topics and the national interest of this music. .
A second concert takes place later five days, with same success.
On October 11, 1830 it gives its last concert to Warsaw, and interprets the concerto as a semi minor. It leaves on November 2, 1830. It will not re-examine any more its country.
The Scherzo in B minor expresses this tearing. It is only found, and it feels the hostility population to grow it against its country. Little by little the idea of a voyage to Paris takes shape.
The news of its country is bad. The insurrection dies. While arriving at Stuttgart, he learns crushing from the insurrection, the catch and the bag of Warsaw by the Russian troops, on September 18, 1831.
“That at least cannot I kill a Muscovite! ”
The legend says that by learning the news it was put at the piano and improvised what was to become the revolutionary study. .
“That the cruelest tortures torment the French who did not help us! ”.
